Objective:

A stand up by the time I am finished with the internship.

​

Activities/ Resources:  ​

 

​-Attend morning meetings in which top breaking news stories are discussed and  distributed       amongst news reporters and anchors.

​-Observe news reporters and anchors while they are on set or on their field doing their stand up

-Befriend as many people in the EWN department that could possibly help and give me advice

​-Do an independent research on ENPS (Electronic News Production System which EWN uses to  communicate with one another through internet inside the building)

​

Evidence:

​

During my internship I attended each morning meeting. The morning meetings consists of the top stories and breaking news stories that are interesting to our viewers in the afternoon airings. Also during these meetings, reporters, anchors and meteorologists are assigned to air times and story segments. Included in my portfolio is an example of a recent morning meeting split sheets as well as assignment documents that I’m given for an opportunity to do my stand up.
