I recently interned at  WABC-Eyewitness News in Manhattan, New York City. Channel 7 Eyewitness News is the top rated local news station in the tri-state area. Many local and inner city students applied for a position with Eyewitness News but I was amongst the few who were chosen to intern with the EWN team.

My duties at ABC is working closely with the assignments news editors. 

I help the news editors with recent occurrences throughout the city as well as helping them do research and compile data that's needed to determine reporters' assignments.

 

​​In general, I find the latest news within local occurrences, celebrity gossip, or even national news pertaining to our nation to be quite intriguing. Learning this specific business, allows me to utilize and endure my creative writing skills as well as enhancing my credibility during my deliverance in broadcasting.
